In the beginning..
A winning site must have a planned strategy!
Whether the site is intended to sell products, supply information, or fill a unique production gap, careful planning on your part must take place.
If possible, before contacting your web design company, know as much as you can about what you need in everything form maintaining brand strategy to fulfillment of product delivery. A site's planning takes careful thought on your, and the web firms part in order to accomplish its goal. Take enough time to do it right and ask as many questions as you need till you feel ready to chose the right firm for the job.
Outlining your goals and requirements will assist MedeaWorks or your chosen firm in the direction of design & technology to formulate a strategy you can realistically achieve within a given time frame and budget.
The first step is definition.
Assessing your requirements through a meeting with key decision makers in your company to decide what you want the site to do and how it will interplay with your existing company's workflow is the most logical first step. This brief outline will assist you in getting started.

From that information and a few direct questions, MedeaWorks or another firm will be able to give you a project quote and/or a restricted budget quote and an approximate timeline for production. Project specifications will most likely, only be included in the actual contract.
For larger site projects an extended quote or site map from the firm is suggested. It's a minimal cost for larger endeavors and getting a site map or diagram doesn't necessarily lock you into that firm or that map's navigational structure.
Timesaving information is also available on gathering text, graphics, and other content.
