A word from the Trailblazers...
The Kentucky Trailblazers is a wagon club that was founded in 1985 by a group of horse and mule enthusiasts who were interested in preserving the ancient art of using horses, mules and ponies for work, travel and pleasure.
Today we number over 100 members and we are growing each year. We are the largest wagon club in the state and one of the most active.
We attend many festivals throughout the state and we strive to share our knowledge with anyone who may be interested in the uses of draft animals for work or pleasure. We have a planned wagon ride each month, beginning in the early Spring and continuing through the late Fall. We not only have wagon rides on these outings, but we also have suppers at each ride. Each family will bring a dish to these meals and when it is all put together, we have some of the finest food I have ever eaten. Due to this our club decided to take the club's best cooks' recipes for making the food we have become accustomed to enjoying on our rides and share them with you.
